DESCRIPTION:\nPlease join us for our next meeting, Thursday March 12, 2026.  Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30am.\n \nOur speaker will be Sharon Lewis.  The topic for this meeting will be Emerging Fraud Trends.\n \n \n \nFor nearly 40 years Sharon has assisted financial institutions and Oklahoma consumers in deterring and recovering from financial crimes.  For 20 years she managed the Central Oklahoma Clearing House Association (COCHA), a statewide financial institution-based trade association.  For 18 years, she was the Operational Security Officer for BancFirst, responsible for managing the operational loss prevention, detection, investigation, and recovery efforts for over 100 statewide locations.  In February 2024, she became Vice President of the Fraud Division of the Oklahoma Bankers Association.  The only state banking association with a dedicated fraud division.\n \n \n \nSharon is a Lifetime Member of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (IAFCI), is 1st Vice President of the IAFCI OK-AR Chapter, facilitates the Oklahoma City Metro Area Fraud Investigators Association (MAFIA) meetings, is an active alumnus of the Oklahoma City FBI Citizens Academy, and in 2018, she was awarded the Brad Edwards Consumer Champion Award by the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office.\n
