Oklahoma’s New Trust Code: What You Need to Know

Oklahoma’s Trust Code has undergone significant changes, with recent amendments aimed in part at clarifying and cleaning up the Oklahoma Uniform Trust Code (OUTC). What do these changes mean for trustees and trust practitioners?

Join us for a panel discussion exploring the practical implications of Oklahoma’s updated Trust Code. Jim will kick off the conversation with an overview of the amendments and the changes they make to the OUTC. Amanda and Michael will then build on that discussion, including insights from Amanda’s recent Oklahoma Bar Journal article, “What Trustees Ought to Know,” as well as a look at which Oklahoma case law remains unaffected by the OUTC and its recent amendments.

The panel will also discuss practical considerations for trustees and trust practitioners navigating the aftermath of these changes, followed by an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and engage with the panelists.
