Please join us for our next meeting, Thursday May 7, 2026.  Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30am.

Our speaker will be Porter Heath Morgan, IV.  The topic for this meeting will be Digital Afterlife:  AI, Data, and the Future of Estate Planning.

Session Description:

As artificial intelligence, chatbots, and data collection become embedded in daily life, they are also reshaping what it means to leave behind a legacy.  Drawing from his science fiction novel The Memory Project, this presentation explores how personal data, digital identities, and AI-driven replicas challenge traditional estate planning frameworks.  The presentation emphasizes the growing importance of individuals being intentional about and curating their data, structuring digital assets, and even designing AI agents or chatbots that can preserve their knowledge, voice, and intellectual property for future generations.  Attendees will gain practical insight into how estate planners can guide clients in transforming passive digital footprints into purposeful, governed legacies in an AI-driven world.
